The MBL is a baseball league for adult players in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. We field a fun, exciting, competitive brand of gentlemanly baseball. Our teams are made up of a wide variety of former local high school stars, college players, transplanted players from around the country and those looking for an opportunity to play in a competitive local hardball league. The league lineage dates back to the Milwaukee County Open and Minor Leagues that have roots in the 1930s. The MBL began independent play in 2003 with eight teams from the Milwaukee County Open and Minors after Milwaukee County ceased running their hardball leagues. In 2005 we affiliated with the Wisconsin Youth Sports Association in order to solidify the future of high level ameteur baseball in Greater Milwaukee long term.
