Check here all season for game status due to weather and field conditions. The last update of the day will be about 3 hours before gametime, if the games have not been postponed by then, players, managers and umpires need to report to the diamond. Managers only may call Jim or Kirk. July 23 Vets games canceled. Saturday games: 1v2, 2v1 doubleheader at Aaron is rained out and moved to Saturday, August 7 at Zirkel at 4:30pm and 7pm. 4v6, 6v4 doubleheader at Harden is rained out and moved to Saturday, August 7 at Harden at 4:30pm and 7pm. 3v5, 5v3 doubleheader at Zirkel is on if no more rain. Sunday Games: 7v8, 8v7 doubleheader at Harden is likely moved to Wilson Park. If so, diamond is off of 13th street a block south of Howard. Enter parking lot on 13th street and go west about a hundred yards to diamond. We'll get final word tonight, check back very late tonight or early Sunday morning. See below for most recent update time. For added Manager's note click read more. You may check the Milwaukee Parks site for daily field reports (usually) as well, however this site takes precedence. Manager's please see your email for park crew phone numbers to call if your diamond, scoreboard, lights or scorer's booth is not ready an hour before game time. Always address field issues the first time you see a County employee to talk to. Remember to always treat park crew with respect and that there is no point if arguing with park personnel- they are short staffed again due to budgets (consider who you vote for carefully next election). In the event it is questionable that a diamond will be ready for game time, and you visit the diamond a few hours early, you can try to get rid of puddles if no park personnel objects; do it with your own rakes and brooms well before game time if the games have not already been called off. It is best to rake TOWARDS the basepath then let the water run off, DON'T push water and field topping into the grass- this is what creates the field lips and prevents drainage. |
