PJ's Tigers 10 Johnny V's Kings 5
PJ's Tigers defeated Johnny V's 10 to 5, in game one of a Fathers Day double header at Harden field in a rematch of the 2008 Championship game. At the plate, the tigers were led by Eric Cluppert, who had a 3 for 4 day, with 3 runs scored, Justin Gelhausen who was 2 for 4 with a 2 run Home Run, Matt Duranso who was 2 for 5 with 2 Runs scored, Jason Maaske who was 3 for 5, Scott Rappl who was 2 for 3 with a walk and sac fly, Kevin Tapper who was 1 for 1 with 3 walks and 2 runs scored. Andy Monigal had a double, sac fly, and two runs scored & Cory McEwen was 1 for 5 with 2 RBI. On the mound, Kyle Knaust pitched a complete game with 3 strike outs to pick up his second win of the season. Johnny V's was led by Dan Marx who had 3 hits, Lee Kleszczynski who had 2 hits, Rob Weist who had 2 hits, & Dan Goral who had 2 hits. For Johnny V's on the mound pitching, Anthony Jones took the Loss.

PJ's (Located on 30th and Lincoln) Tigers defeated Johnny's V's 11 to 3 in game two of a Fathers Day double header at Harden Field. The Tigers jumped to a 7 to 1 lead after the 1st inning didn't look back after this lead. The Tigers were led by a well balanced attack at the plate; Eric Cluppert was 1 for 3 with 2 walks 1 run scored and 2 RBI, Matt Duranso was 3 for 4 with a walk, a run scored, & 1 RBI. Scott Rappl was 1 for 3 with 2 walks and 2 runs scored, Cory McEwen had 3 RBI, which included a towering a 2 Run Home Run that landed on the back of the green in right field, at Zablocki golf course. Jason Maaske also collected 1 hit & had one run scored, Justin Gelhausen was 2 for 4 with a one run scored and one RBI, Kevin Tapper was 2 for 2 with 2 walks, 2 Runs scored and 1 RBI, Steve Rappl was 2 for 3 with an RBI & one Run scored, & Kyle Knaust was 1 for 1 with a one scored. On the mound pitching, the Tigers were led by Victor Helin who made his first pitching start as a Tiger. He worked 6 impressive innings, giving up 3 runs on 4 hits, & striking out 7 to earn his first victory of the season. The win improved PJ's record to 7-2. The two losses dropped Johnny's V's to 6-4 overall & was led by Dan Marx who was 1 for 3 with a 1 walk & 2 runs scored. Taking the lose pitching for Johnny V's was starting pitcher Dan Goral. This next Sunday at Noon & 2:30 PM at Zirkel Field PJ's Tigers plays a critical Double Header vs. O'Brien's/Milwaukee HD Orioles with 1st place in the American League at steak.
 
Steakout Black Sox 12 Sid Grinker's Titans 7
The Black Sox won Sunday's Fathers Day game 12 to 7 against a much improved Titans team. The Titans scored 3 in the top of the first and held a lead through 3 innings. The Steakout bats woke up late in the game and Chad Torn found some form leading to a 12 to 4 score going into the bottom of 7. The Titans plated 3 in the bottom of 7 to make it interesting before Torn retired the side pitching out of a jam. The Steakout now prepares for an important divisional doubleheader vs. Supreme Builders who have a 6-3 overall record on Saturday 4:30 at Zirkel.
 
O'Brien's Milwaukee Harley Davidson Orioles 8 Leff's Tosa Grads 5
The Orioles scored seven times in the bottom of the sixth to come back from a 3-1 deficit to win game 1 of the double header. It was an inning full of defensive miscues for Leff's as 7 of the 8 runs were unearned leading to a hard fought loss for Rob Tschimprle. Dan Wilfrath won his fifth game pitching & Jim Vielbaum had two hits with a double and 2 RBI leading the Oroiles team. John Kuhn led the Grads offense with two hits including a double and two walks. 

Leff's Lucky Town 9 O'Brien's Milwaukee Harley Davidson 3
In game two of a twi-night doubleheader, Leff's scored late to overcome a 3-2 deficit.  Mike Schroeder pitched the complete game victory allowing only one earned run.
 
Supreme Builders 15 Jimmy B's 7
Going into the the bottom of the fifth inning, Supreme Builders had the lead 8 to 4. However, Jimmy B's rallied to score three runs to cut the lead to one. In the final two innings, the Builders added seven more runs to put the game out of reach. Winning pitcher for Supreme was Brendon Dorn. He earned the complete game victory by allowing four earned runs and striking out nine. The Builder\'s offense was led by the Moser brothers with Chris going 3 for 4 with 2 RBI and Colin going 2 for 4 with 3 RBI (this includes 2 doubles, but we will let the big man think he got a triple cus he lost 45 lbs. during the offseason). Additional highlights were Sean Carolan also having a multi hit game and Andrew Belter scoring four runs. For Jimmy B's, all their hits and runs were supplied by Jared Lepak (3 for 4, with 2 Runs), Joe Cefalu (2 for 4, with 2 Runs), and Adam Karns (2-3, 3R). On an important side note, the Builder's annual All League Player Eric Belter managed to get a HBP in the game. This now has occured in four of the five games he played in this season. Even though he missed the entire first month, he warns league pitching that he will maintain the Bruised Helmet Award that he received from the 2008 season. His lifetime total of HBPs is now 568.

South Shore All-Stars 9 St. Francis A's 2
All-Stars winning pitcher was Brian Curran at Zirkel Field to improve their record to 7-2 overall. St. Francis A's dropped to 3-6 overall now after this defeat.

Indians and Phillies split their doubleheader.
