2008 Playoff Schedule

Playoff seedings and match-ups are listed, please click "read more" to see.

If the games of Saturday, August 16 get rained out, the higher seeds will advance to Sunday's match-ups.  This is an unfortunate result of all the rain we had this year pushing the schedule back, and is the same thing we had at do a few years back.

Managers please make sure that all players are eligible for the playoffs.  This means the player must have made an appearance before July 17th and have the minimum PA + IP.  Managers are advised to accept any forfeit if such an option occurs.

Qurterfinal 1- Sunday, August 17, Noon at Harden: Allstar Sportswear hosting winner of Long Wongs v Varsity Club
Quarterfinal 2- Sunday, August 17, 3pm at Harden: The Steakout hosting the winner of PJ's v O'Brien's
Quarterfinal 3- Sunday, August 17, Noon at Zirkel: Club Paragon v. winner of Braves v Leff's (Club Paragon would host Leff's, however Braves would host Club Paragon)
Quarterfinal 4- Sunday, August 17, 3pm at Zirkel: Johnny V's hosting winner of Supreme Builders v Jimmy B's

Saturday, August 23, 2:30pm at Harden: Winner Quarterfinal 1 v Winner Quarterfinal 2
Saturday, August 23, 5:30pm at Harden: Winner Quarterfinal 3 v Winner Quarterfinal 4

6. PJ's Tigers .611 (wins tie breaker with Long Wongs by virtue of head to head play and would have home field v Long Wongs)

7. Long Wongs .611 (would have home field v Club Paragon by virtue of head to head play)

8. Supreme Builders 571 (by virtue of coin toss, all else tied)

9. Jimmy B's .571

10. Varsity Club .555

11. O'Brien's .500 (by virtue of head to head v Leff's and would have home field v Leff's)

12. Leff's .500

The Playoffs are in a Bracket Structure with no reseeding.  Regular season records determine home field team.

In round one:

Seed 5 v Seed 12 Saturday, August 16 winner will play Seed 4 on Sunday, August 17.

Seed 8 v Seed 9 Saturday, August 16 winner will play Seed 1 on Sunday, August 17.

Seed 6 v Seed 11 Saturday, August 16 winner will play Seed 3 on Sunday, August 17.

Seed 7 v Seed 10 Saturday, August 16 winner will play Seed 2 on Sunday, August 17.
