Long Wongs 12 Milwaukee Patriots 8 Long Wongs moved up to 10-7 on the season with a strong team effort. John Kuhn, Brian Jaeger and Josh Sopczak each had three hits for Long Wongs, while starting pitcher Joe Brand allowed only three runs in extended work. The Patriots finished their inaugeral season 3-15. Braves 4 Leff's 2 The Braves finished their season at 9-5 with the win and secured 2nd place in their division. Gerorge James pitched a good game going the distance. Leff's put up a fight threatening on several occasionas, but the Braves defense came through.
Supreme Builder's 10 Club Paragon 5 The Builders led the contest thoughtout the night due to their timely hitting. Both teams offense did well combining for 25 hits in the game. Supreme's sticks were led by Eric Belter (4-4, 2R), Colin Moser (2-4, 2 2B, 4 RBI), and Jonny Baierl (2-4). Hitting standouts for Club Paragon were James (3-4), Albino (2-4), and Troy Schmitt (2-4). Long Wong's 9 Club Paragon Phillies 7 The Phillies jumped out to a seven nothing lead after two innings led by a triple to deep right field by Jimmy Kuriatnick and a home run by Jose Albina. After the rough start, Long Wong's starter Greg Ketz settled down to throw a scoreless 3rd and 4th before giving way to Bruce Smeby who held the Phillies scoreless until the seventh when Chris Adamski came in to record the final out with bases loaded to record the save. Adamski led the Long Wong's offense reaching base five times, with Ketz and Jon Wade having two hits apiece and Joe Brand, Adam Graves, Bruce Smeby and Tom Mortonson all contributing key hits.
